We have organized an special travel to Galicia for you. We will spend a weekend visiting Santiago, A Coruña and Lugo under the best conditions (4 star hotel)
Galicia is very known for different reasons:
- It was the first region of Europe to know that Christhoped Colombus had discovered America
- Galicia is known for having one of the best cusines of Spain
- This region has an amazing natural eviroment, thank to it´s coast and forests.
- Santiago de Compostela is the destination city for thousands of Christian pilgrims

During the travel, we will visit different cities of Galicia:
1- Santiago de Compostela, which is the capital of Galicia, is very known around the world for having one of the most known cathedrals: Catheral of Santiago de Compostela.
2- A Coruña is another important Galician city, where there is The Tower of Hercules (a huge lighthouse) in a wonderful landscape.
3- Lugo: We are going to visit its special beaches and also the romanic wall surrounding the city.
The trip will be from February 26 to February 28; all the expenses included in the price; except for meals and party expenses ;).
The itinerary is as follows:
DAY 1
Departure from Bilbao at 5am to Santiago de Compostela. Before arriving to Santiago, we will visit Lugo and its beautiful beaches. After this visit, we will continue our travel to Santiago. Once in the destination, we will make the check in the hotel.
In the afternoon, we will make a guided tour to visit the most important places of this historic city. After the visit, you will enjoy some free time to rest or visit more parts of the city.
At night, we will go on party with Erasmus students from Salamanca and Galicia. You can´t lose this party!
DAY 2
After having the breakfast at the hotel, we will go to A Coruña, where we will enjoy a guided tour around the city. After the visit you will have free time to have lunch and continue visiting the city. In the afternoon, we will move back to Santiago de Compostela to have a very special dinner in Fogar do Santiso, a reputaded restaurant of Galicia (included in the price). After having dinner, we will celebrate a Queimada, which is a local ritual to ward off evil spirits.
DAY 3
After having breakfast, we will travel back to Bilbao. During the travel, we will make an stop to visit The Romanic Wall of Lugo. After the visit, we will continue travelling to Bilbao.
The price includes:
- Round trip by bus
- Stay in a 4* hotel
- Guided tours in Santiago de Compostela and A Coruña
- Dinner at Fogar do Santiso and Queimada

Nos vamos a GALICIA!!!
Para ello hemos preparado un viaje de calidad en un hotel de 4 estrellas. Galicia es conocida por muchas razones entre ellas:
- La primera ciudad en tener la noticia del descubrimiento de América
- Una de las mejores gastronomías de España
- Una de las mejores naturalezas de España
- Ciudades muy religiosas y por tanto de gran valor arquitectónico
En el viaje visitaremos diferentes ciudades:
1- Santiago de Compostela, la cual es la capital de Galicia y tiene la catedral en honor a Santiago
2- A Coruña, la segunda ciudad más importante de Galicia donde hay un faro monumental
3- Lugo y sus playas de las catedrales a la vez que visitaremos también su muralla
El viaje durará todo un fin de semana y tendremos todo incluido menos la comida y la cena que correrá a cargo del alumno.
El itinerario es el siguiente:
Salida desde Bilbao con destino a Santiago de Compostela, de camino visitaremos las playas de las Catedrales de Lugo. Una vez visitada Lugo, iremos hacía Santiago de Compostela donde haremos el check in en el hotel. A la tarde visiatermos la ciudad con guias oficiales y después tendremos un tiempo de descanso y tiempo libre.
A la noche... nos vamos de FIESTA!!!! Junto a diferentes grupos de erasmus visitaremos una de las mejores noches de España (Santiago de Compostela).
El segundo día desyunamos en el hotel y nos vamos a Coruña donde tendremos una visita guiada. Tras la comida y una visita con tiempo libre incluido, volveremos a Santiago de Compostela para disfrutar de una magnífica cena en Fogar do santiso y después celebrar una queimada.
Finalmente el tercer día, tendremos opción de desayunar y preparar las maletas para visitar la muralla de Lugo en una parada en camino a Bilbao.
