What will we visit in Morocco in a week?
1st Day:
At the agreed time, we will be picked up at Marrakech airport and taken to our hotel for check-in. Depending on our arrival time, we may have the opportunity to take a short tour of the city.
2nd Day:
Marrakech - Ait Ben Haddou - Dades Valley (330 km)
We will be picked up from our hotel in Marrakech and head towards the High Atlas Mountains, passing through the highest pass in the country, Tizi n'Tichka, at an altitude of 2,260 meters. Along the way, we will drive through beautiful villages until we reach the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1987. This fortified town has been featured in numerous films and series, including "Gladiator" and "Game of Thrones." After visiting the kasbah, we will continue past Ouarzazate and the impressive Skoura palm grove before arriving at the Dades Valley.
Dinner and accommodation will be in the Dades Gorges.
3rd DAY:
DADES VALLEY - TODRA GORGES - MERZOUGA DESERT (280 KM)
After breakfast, we will continue our journey, crossing various Berber villages. We will visit the impressive Todra Gorges, where we will have the option to enjoy a meal and take in the breathtaking scenery at our leisure.
After the visit, we will head directly to the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi, where our dromedary excursion will begin. We will stop to watch the sunset as we journey into the heart of the desert. Upon arrival, we will be greeted with a restorative tea and an exquisite Berber dinner, accompanied by the rhythms of tam-tam drums.
We will spend a unique and unforgettable night under the vast, star-filled sky of the desert. We will sleep in tents in the middle of the desert, undoubtedly the best experience of our trip to Morocco.
4th DAY:
DESERT OF MERZOUGA - OUARZAZATE - MARRAKECH (550 KM) ### 4th Day:
We are already in the desert! On day 4, we will wake up early to see the sunrise from the top of the dunes. After enjoying these beautiful views, we will return by camel to the hostel for breakfast and a shower. Once we are ready, we will continue our journey to the Draa Valley, which is home to more than 10 million palm trees. We will cross the High Atlas Mountains once again and head towards Marrakech, where we will arrive around 20:00 PM and spend the night at the hotel.
5th DAY: MARRAKECH
After breakfast, we will have a guided tour of the city of Marrakech, known as the pearl of southern Morocco. This tour will be conducted only if our flight does not depart early in the morning. If the flight leaves early, we will not have time to visit the main tourist attractions.
